Featured Cat:  Jordan

Jordan is a playful, active cat with abundant personality seeking a feline playmate with the same traits.  She has grown up around other cats and would be an excellent companion to your other household kitties.  In fact, Jordan really needs the companionship of other cats in order to be truly happy.  Jordan also gets along well with dogs and loves to roll around on the floor, looking cute and trying to catch the dog's attention.  When it comes to people, Jordan likes nothing more than chatting you up over a cup of coffee in the morning, then following you around the house for the rest of the day.  While not the traditional "lap cat", Jordan is always there to keep you company and will provide you with ample opportunity to pet her and dote on her.  Jordan is very loving but not fond of being carried around, so she would do best in a household with children old enough to play "catch the feather toy" with her (probably 10+ years old).  As is true with many cats, Jordan demands patience as she gets to know and trust you (especially men for some reason), but once she does, you and your household pets will be rewarded with a ton of love and lots of fun playtime.

Hello. My name is Lola. I am called a Pug Mix, but my foster mom thinks that I am just an overgrown Pug, pure and simple. I am 31 pounds but only 18" tall. I am a sweet girl and have lived with both cats and dogs. Of course, I need to be the alpha in any dog situation. The dogs I live with now are nice enough to let me play with them when I feel like it and then leave me alone when I am done. My favorite pastime is to lie down wherever you are just to be near you. I LOVE to play fetch with tennis balls and go for walks.   Lola needs a family that will spend time with her. They do not have to be too active or too calm. Older children would be good for her. She needs a house with a backyard to play fetch and run around in. She already knows "sit", "down", "come" and "leave it". She is crate trained and goes in when told. You only have to tell her something one time. She wants nothing more than to please her humans.
